Benjamin Woodgates is a multi-award winning British composer whose body of work encompasses film, theatre, installation, concert works and interactive media.
Recent projects include composing the film score to Dream Horse (starring Toni Collette and Damian Lewis), directing and arranging the music for Terence Davies’ Benediction, commissions from the Choir of St Paul’s Cathedral and the WDR Radio Orchestra; collaborations with Opera North, Abel Selaocoe, and the BBC Proms; and films for Waitrose, Honda, Carlsberg and the 2018 Winter Paralympics.
Benjamin has also orchestrated music for films, television shows and games including Being The Ricardos, BAFTA-winning drama Landscapers (HBO/Sky Atlantic), Immortality (Xbox/Windows) and Phantom Thread Live at the Southbank. He is an alumnus of Oxford University, the Royal College of Music and the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop. He is represented by Leland.
